Simple Tools Group is a small group of allied professionals in the San Francisco East Bay area. We are graphic artists, network specialists, hardware wonks and, a rarity these days, a handful of true generalists.

STG's principal, Tom Portante is a business and technology consultant with over 18 years of professional experience in social computing, a long-ago social anthropologist, and a veteran of companies ranging from "Big N Management Consultancies" and a co-founder of multiple dot-com ventures. His focus has been unwavering for nearly two decades. It's a focus on the idea that collective brainpower, applied to shared problems, is a force that leads to long term business advantages. Said less bookishly: everyone is smarter than any one.

To that end, SimpleToolsGroup helps clients create web sites as well as how to profitably use blogs and wikis.
